P1 pre-production materials for a planned original audio-visual media product

Title of production: Ferrero for sharing

Medium: short film, 1080p, HD, 25fps

Synopsis: This short film is a love story centered around chocolates. The female in the film falls in love with the male, but she is too shy to tell him. She starts sending him chocolates everyday so he knows someone is thinking about him even if she is too afraid to tell him it is her. Eventually, the male finds out and, as it turns out, he also has feelings for this girl and has been too afraid to tell her. Once he realizes she was the one sending him the chocolates, he has the courage to make a move and they can finally be together.

Key Scenes: One key scene is the where the girl places the chocolate for the boy, but they are not in the frame at the same time. These scenes are important because they have to place the boy and girl in the same frame/area but not at the same time. This demonstrates that the girl’s behaviour is secret, and it also shows the boy’s confusion at who is sending him these gifts as he doesn’t see it in the beginning.

Running Time : 1:30 minutes

Character list:  Actor : the boy (Wan jie)

Actress : the girl (Xin Ke)

launch date: 30th October

Video advertisement for Ferrero Rocher Cholocate to be launch on 30th October at same time as the commercial for the same product (unit 14).

The other key scene is when the boy realizes it is the girl who has been sending him gifts. Finally, the two are in the same frame as they have realized each other’s feelings and can be together.

Target Audience: The target audience of this film is adults. It is geared towards people who see chocolate as a gift to give someone you care about and not just a treat. It is also aimed at people who are in love or have been in love and can understand the feelings of the characters. The film is not for children, but it is for any adult as this is a relatable feeling throughout all of people’s adult lives. It also would work well as a commercial as it indicates that chocolate is a good gift to show someone that you care about them.

Despite it being for adult audiences, it would still have a rating of U. There is nothing that is inappropriate for younger audiences, for even though they wouldn’t necessarily be interested in the story, it is fine for them to view it and to see positive images of love.
